The same client who commissioned the tooth wall art came back with another project. He had a plastic tub in the office where kids could pick a toy after their appointment. He wanted a solid chest that looked like it belonged in the same space as the rest of the office to replace the plastic tub.

Built entirely from red oak at 22 inches wide, 12 inches deep, and 18 inches tall, with weathered oak stain and a poly-acrylic topcoat to match the wall piece. The most important detail: soft-close hinges. When kids are involved, the last thing you want is a lid slamming on small fingers.
